from Grafenwoehr and travel along the highway by bus to Riva del Garda in Italy. Day 2: Lake Garda: Riva del Garda, Malcesine and Sirmione (Friday, 30 March) Welcome to Italy. In the morning arrive in Riva del Garda, a town beautifully surrounded by lofty peaks, situated at the more scenic north end of the lake. After an included breakfast buffet at a restaurant with panoramic view of Lake Garda, enjoy a full day guided tour of Riva del Garda, Malcesine and the delightful resort of Sirmione – the southern end of the lake. In the late afternoon, set off to Verona and get settled in your hotel. Day 3: Verona, wine tasting (Saturday, 31 March) After an included breakfast, a local guide introduces you to the highlights of the wonderful city of Verona, before spending the lunch time at your leisure; followed by a tasting of the region’s finest wines in the afternoon in Valpolicella area. Overnight in Verona. Day 4: Venice (Sunday, 1 April) Breakfast at the hotel before setting of for Venice. Experience the romance of Venice on your own: • Step into the iconic St. Mark’s Square and view its soaring basilica • Explore the Rialto market, famous for its fish and vegetable stands • View the stately Doge’s Palace, built in the Venetian Gothic style in 1340 • Marvel at the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge, which spans the Grand Canal • See a glassblowing demonstration to learn about the city’s most celebrated art Continue on to Grafenwoehr in the evening at 8:00 p.m. Day 5: Return day (Monday, 2 April) Arrive in Grafenwoehr around 7:00 a.m.
